Hilton Head Foreclosures

Updated daily with current Hilton Head MLS listings, BillTrue.com also features Hilton Head foreclosures.  This inventory includes desirable homes in the Island’s premier gated communities such as Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes and Hilton Head Plantation and, when correctly priced, can turn out to be a very smart purchase.  But they don’t last long!  Of course these homes are in various states of repair, so post-closing cash infusions are often necessary to bring the property back into its prime state.  Usually, these homes are priced aggressively, so be prepared to move quickly once you select your home or villa of choice.  Multiple offers are the norm and cash buyers or those who are pre-qualified fare best at the closing table.
Whether you are looking to purchase a foreclosure on Hilton Head, vacation home or villa/condo or home site on which build your dream residence, BillTrue.com makes it easy to find the perfect property to suit your needs.  Please contact me for more information at 843-384-9088.

Hilton Head Island Short Sales

Forest Beach short salesHoly smokes! If you’re looking for some sweet deals on foreclosed properties and short sales you won’t find any better than the Forest Beach short sales on Hilton Head Island. Such a gorgeous place to live with so much to do and now there’s very affordable property to boot!

Forest Beach is comprised of South Forest Beach and North Forest Beach, and is separated by Coligny Plaza. All Forest Beach short sales are within a short distance to the ocean and the pristine beach. There are more than 200 boutiques and shops on Hilton Head and over 250 restaurants, a grocer and more, this really is the unofficial downtown of the Island. On the island you will have access to over 24 golf courses, hundreds of tennis courts, and over 50 miles of public trails.

Forest Beach properties, including the available Forest Beach short sales, are a fusion of newly constructed oceanfront mansions, small bungalows built in the 1950s, condos, and mid-sized beach homes. Residents and visitors embrace the fact that their community is only one of the few close-knit neighborhoods on Hilton Head Island. There are three miles of unspoiled beaches and pristine dunes in this section of the island between Sea Pines and Shipyard Plantation.

Why I Buy Foreclosures

Hilton Head Plantation foreclosuresA long time ago I learned that one of the best ways to get a good price on real estate is to buy a foreclosed on home property. I can buy a property at a low price, and they can then use the home in several different ways. I generally keep an eye out to find a place that is close to the beach, because those properties are easy to resell at a huge profit. That’s why when I came across these Hilton Head Plantation foreclosures I got pretty excited. I definitely wanted to know more about them.

I figured I could buy one of the Hilton Head Plantation foreclosures and then rent the unit out to vacationers throughout the year until the value increases when the economy does. Depending on the exact location of the home, I will be able to make several thousand dollars a month through renting. Hilton Head Island is a very popular place, and many people prefer to rent a home rather than spending their vacation in a hotel room.

The income on vacation property can pay for someone to clean and care for the property if you are not in the area. You will even be able to use the property as your own private vacation spot when you want to head to Hilton Head for a getaway.

Regardless of the reason you are buying Hilton Head Plantation foreclosures, there really are some great values here.

Surfside Beach Foreclosures

Surfside Beach ForeclosuresForeclosures have been very common over the past couple of years due to the economy, job market, housing market and many other factors. An extremely good sign for real estate owners or potential real estate owners in Surfside Beach is that as of October 2011, there are only 17 listed Surfside Beach Foreclosures. At one time there were hundreds of foreclosures which made buyers very happy but in the end it they hurt the overall market. Many real estate owners have been hoping for a reduction in foreclosures which they hope in the end will mean a return of the housing market. Surfside Beach has had a reputation to hold it’s value rather well and the 17 Surfside Beach Foreclosures is another bright note.
